Dr. Imam is owner of VirtuScribe Solutions and is responsible for the company's direction, including forming strategic relationships and acquisitions. A pioneer in the fields of teleradiology and telemedicine, he served as Chairman and Founder of American Teleradiology, which merged with Nighthawk and went public in 2006 (NSDQ: NHWK). He holds a BS in Mathematics and Computer Science from Brown, an MD from Brown and MS in Biostatistics from Harvard.
Dr. Imam continues to be instrumental in perfecting radiology workflow solutions developed and implemented more than 10 years ago. As a business entrepreneur, he has vast knowledge including business development, relationship management, mergers, acquisitions and startups. Dr. Imam is also the founder of House Calls of D.C. a First Medicine subsidiary and Advanced Medical Initiatives. All business designed to implement operational efficiencies to end users/patients to gain access to better healthcare options for the markets they serve.
Zaahir is the Vice President of Development for the First Medicine Corporation and leads the final design on the FM products, which he coordinates with various development teams in the US and India. He graduated from the University of Virginia with a double major in Economics and Cognitive Science with a concentration in Neuroscience.
Hemanth Balaji has completed his bachelor's degree in Biotechnology and holds an MBA in Hospital & Healthcare Management. Six Sigma Green Belt certified, he has 11 years of experience in RCM, Telemedicine product implementation, Hospital Information Management, and developed software service platforms for healthcare specialties including Radiology, Pediatrics, and Urology.
Mr. Balaji has worked with prestigious clients like Schumacher Group, Nextgen, Meditech, Epic, E-clinical works, McKenzie and Brightree. He has handled complete operations of 250+ team size and built teams for various U.S. clients in India.
